Admission Counselor

**Job Summary**:
The **Admission Counsellor** will assist prospective students and their families in making well-informed decisions about enrolling in educational programs. This role involves providing guidance on course selection, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and program benefits while ensuring a smooth admission process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Counseling**:

- Provide detailed information about programs, courses, and admission requirements.
- Address queries and concerns of students and their families.
- **Lead Management**:

- Follow up on leads generated through various channels (walk-ins, calls, online inquiries).
- Maintain records of inquiries and progress in the admission system.
- **Admission Process**:

- Assist students in completing their admission forms accurately and gather necessary documentation.
- Coordinate admission tests, interviews, and other admission formalities.
- **Promotional Activities**:

- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and events to promote the institution and its offerings.
- Represent the institution during outreach programs.
- **Communication & Reporting**:

- Prepare and submit regular reports on student inquiries and admissions progress to the management team.
- **Relationship Management**:

- Build rapport with students, parents, and school/university partners.
- Stay in touch with enrolled students to address initial onboarding issues.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Any graduate from a recognized university.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and listening skills to connect with students and parents.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Multitasking and time management abilities.
- Patience and enthusiasm for mentoring students.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in education counseling, marketing, or sales (not mandatory).
- Familiarity with the education system, academic programs, and admission processes.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an added advantage.
