Introduction:
This role will sit within the Pru Reg CoE team responsible for RWA, Leverage and Large Exposure reporting
The reporting team is tasked with the production of daily, monthly and quarterly information to both internal management and external regulatory bodies. The role is required to ensure delivery of internal business critical management information (MI) and mandatory external regulatory reporting on both a timely and frequent basis.
- Internal Regulatory MI is used by the Business to monitor exposure values against both the internal and external regulatory limits and support management decisions.
- External reporting is required to comply with mandatory prudential regulatory reporting requirements.
- Failure to deliver could result in financial penalties, sanctions and regulatory relationship damage.

What will you be doing?
- Support Regulatory transformation agenda and to be hands in with Corep returns.
- Understand end to end process flow and various mappings and liaise with developer’s/Business analyst to automate the process in line with Business requirements.
- Production of mandatory external regulatory reporting for RWA, Leverage and Large Exposure metrics e.g. CoRep and GSIBs reporting.
- Ensuring the appropriate control framework is in place to deliver accurate and timely external and internal reporting requirements during the developments/ automation of the project.
- Ensuring the transformation build to be aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Assessing the impact of all regulatory changes for RWA, Leverage and Large Exposures and bring robust controls/ efficiency through automation and timely provide the solutions to the line teams.
- Closely monitor day to day operations/ reporting challenges and timely liaise with respective systems Owner and provide solution/ update to line team
- Support in various end user testing / parallel testing with all possible scenarios and provide comfort to the end user for Sign off.
- Support any new mandatory regulatory requirements.
- Preparation of any other required regulatory information for the Bank;
- Assisting other team members as necessary in all production team tasks;
- Escalate all reporting issues to line manager/senior management in a timely manner;
- To consistently meet reporting deadlines and to deliver against overall targets;
- Responding to ad hoc queries from internal stakeholders, ensuring a swift response and compliance with the internal policy around the distribution of sensitive data.
- Liaising with other areas of the business globally including, off shore production teams, Treasury, Product Control, IT, Statutory Reporting, Operations and Regulatory teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the Regulatory Reporting line team and other departments where appropriate

What we’re looking for:

- University degree or equivalent
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CI MA)
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong control awareness and ability to document adequate audit trails
- Keen analytical skills with the ability to challenge current processes and develop recommendations for alternate
- Good Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work and maintain relationship with multiple stakeholders
- Flexibility and ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
- Team Player
