**About Citi Business**:
**Job Summary**: We’re looking for an experienced, and technology proficient, J2EE and Microservice Software Engineering Lead to join/manage our agile software development team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining our existing Spring MVC/Security J2EE environment, as well as managing the decupling of the existing.war to microservices. This decupling, and microservices production environment, are firmly established.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Java/J2EE/Microservice developers providing technical guidance, excellence, mentorship and code reviews as a means of best practices.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical designs via Jira.
- Drive technical discussions and foster a creative environment.
- Maintain secure, robust and scalable code.
- Have a strong understanding of software security, vulnerabilities, OWASP and fraud.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements, development to deployment.
- Collaborate effectively with a wide variety of cross-functional teams.
- Extensive troubleshooting and support is required.
- **Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)**

Qualifications:

- ** 2-4 years in Java/J2EE and Microservices development.**:

- ** Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, Servlets, RESTful Endpoints, JDBC, Spring Framework, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS/Native, HTML**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
