**Job Description: Payroll Executive**
**Responsibilities**:
- Process and manage employee payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and overtime, in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and timesheet data.
- Verify and process changes to employee information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions, taxes, and other withholdings accurately and on time.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks, electronic transfers, or direct deposits to employees.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits, providing clear and timely responses.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing payroll-related reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and other payroll-related regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work with the HR team to ensure accurate benefits administration and timely processing of employee benefits contributions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Payroll Executive or in a similar payroll processing role.
- Proficiency in payroll software, spreadsheets, and financial software.
- Strong understanding of payroll calculations, tax regulations, and employment laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with payroll compliance requirements and reporting.
- Professional certifications in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) are a plus.
