Roughing in the footwear industry is the process of sanding or brushing a material to prepare it for assembly. The goal is to break the surface of the material so that glue can adhere better.

Why is roughing done?
- Roughing prepares the surface of the material for glue and cement.
- Roughing allows the adhesive to penetrate the material fibers.
- Roughing creates a solid bond between the upper and the sole.

What materials are roughened?
- **Leather**: Roughing leather removes the grain surface to reveal the flesh portion.
- **EVA midsoles**: Roughing EVA midsoles prepares them for assembly.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
