**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a receptionist to be responsible for greeting patients and visitors to our hospital. You will be in charge of giving patients directions to various parts of the hospital, contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phones and taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**-**Greet patients as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party
- Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the correct department
- Create and manage both digital and hardcopy filing systems
- Complete procedures when patients arrive and leave
- Prepare bills and take payments
- Take and pass on messages to patients
- Deal with special requests from patients
- Answer questions about what the hospital offers
- Deal with complaints or problems
- Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
- Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars
- Check patients in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
- Enter patient data and send correspondence
- Copy, file and maintain paper or electronic documents and records
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Front desk - Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- total work: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
