Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as an expert to guide the team on **Linux/Ubuntu hardening**.- Provide direction in setting up **network isolation** and enforcing security best practices.- Review infrastructure and deployment setups, recommending improvements as required.**Engage with clients** to present, justify, and defend infrastructure and security decisions.- Act as a trusted advisor to the client, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business needs.- Ensure the team follows automation, security, and infrastructure best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 12-15 years of professional experience in **infrastructure architecture / SME roles**.

Essential skills:
- Strong expertise in **Linux (Ubuntu)** administration and **system hardening**.- Deep understanding of **network security, isolation, and data center infrastructure**.- Proven experience in **infrastructure architecture and best practices**.- Strong **client-facing and stakeholder management** capabilities.- Ability to guide teams in automation, deployment, and secure configurations.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired skills:
- Working knowledge of **DevOps practices** and automation tools such as **Ansible**.-
- Experience aligning infrastructure setups with **security and compliance standards**.- Ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Experience**:
- 12-15 years in infrastructure architecture across **networking, security, and Linux** in private data centers.- Hands-on experience with **DevOps, Ansible, and automation frameworks**.- Proven track record in guiding teams on **infrastructure hardening and secure deployments**.- Strong experience in **client-facing roles**, including presenting, negotiating, and defending technical solutions.- Demonstrated ability to build trust with customers and influence technical direction.
