**Department**: Pre-University (PU) / Science Stream
**Reporting To**: Head of Department

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments.
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and provide feedback to students.
- Support students in understanding complex concepts in botany, zoology, physiology, genetics, ecology, and other relevant topics.
- Guide students for board exams and competitive entrance exams like NEET.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and discipline.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and academic planning.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for curriculum development and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of biology and pedagogy.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biology / Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- B.Ed. or teaching certification is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with PU Board syllabus and exam patterns.

**Desirable Qualities**:

- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to simplify complex biological concepts.
- Technologically adept and able to use digital tools for teaching.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student success.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
