Fihi is transforming holistic health through AI, gamification, and community-driven wellness. Our upcoming mobile app empowers users with personalized health insights, nutrition guidance, fitness motivation, and an engaging pet-based gamification system. Think Duolingo meets MyFitnessPal — but with a pet dragon companion.

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join us on a contract basis to help bring this vision to life.

Job Summary

As our UI/UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end mobile app design process — from wireframes to high-fidelity screens, design systems, and clickable prototypes. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product leads to ensure a seamless implementation of your designs during the build-out phase, supporting with design QA, component adjustments, error states, and marketing assets.

Note: This is a project-based role, with compensation paid for completion of the entire project (~2.5-3 months), not a monthly salary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the founder, developers, and product team to define the app’s design vision and user journey.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity screens for ~50 - 60 app screens across key modules:

- AI Health Coach
- Gamified Pet Dashboard
- Nutrition & Fitness Tracker (with Fitbit, Apple Health, and Google Health integrations)
- Reward Store & Leveling System
- Community Forum
- Mindfulness & Meditation Module
- Build clickable prototypes (Figma or Adobe XD) to showcase real app interactions.
- Define and maintain a consistent design system: color palette, typography, iconography, and component libraries.
- Prepare design specifications and assets for handoff to Flutter developers.
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Support developers during app build-out, clarifying design details, providing final assets, and ensuring that design QA and iterations are aligned with the product vision.
- Help refine UI/UX for edge cases, error states, and micro-interactions as needed.
- Create marketing visuals, app store screenshots, and promotional assets aligned with the app’s design system.

Skills & Experience
- 1-5 years of experience designing mobile-first digital products.
- Expertise in Figma (or Adobe XD, Sketch) for wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and prototypes.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design systems, and component libraries.
- Experience designing for fun, gamified interfaces and crafting engaging user flows.
- Ability to deliver developer-ready design assets and support the dev team during integration.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with Flutter design handoff.
- Experience in health/wellness or gamified apps.
- Motion design or interactive prototyping skills.
- Ability to support marketing visuals and app store assets.

Compensation & Timeline
- Total Project Compensation: ₹35,000 - ₹50,000 INR (based on experience and portfolio quality)
- Duration: ~2.5 - 3 months
- Payment Schedule:

- Milestone 1: Approved wireframes & user flows (20%)
- Milestone 2: 20-25 high-fidelity screens + design system (30%)
- Milestone 3: Remaining screens + clickable prototype (40%)
- Milestone 4: Final revisions, assets handoff, developer support & marketing assets (10%)
