**Job Summary**

Grammar teacher should earn a bachelor's degree, usually in English, and sometimes a master's, depending on state education requirements for teachers. Popular master's degrees include English, rhetoric and composition, journalism or creative writing. High school writing teachers who work at private schools may be exempt from these rules. Good high school writing teachers have studied educational theory and practice, rhetoric, student assessment, composition theory, expository and persuasive writing, grammar, and teaching writing with ESL students in mind.
**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Responsibilities**:Managing the class, preparing the lessons to be delivered to the students. Preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises. Marking and providing appropriate feedback to the students.

Master of Arts (MA) in Teaching (MAT)
- A bachelor's degree.
- The completion of a teacher education program.
- Supervised teaching experience.
- The completion of basic writing and Foreign Language
