You will be working as Production Supervisor and will be part of Electrification business area for BA Function Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production manager and will be responsible to supervise a shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment and assembly lines within a production area. Cooperate with the unit supervisor/manager to create an effective work environment and reinforce production schedules and quality.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift
- Providing regular feedback and making recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line organization. Shifting priorities and possible critical situations
- Helping management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities and reinforcing focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery
- Serving as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical problems and logistic issues
- Ensuring the shift operation is run in compliance with health & safety and identifying and recommending technical equipment, facility improvements as necessary
- Training the associates in the line/product, planning for multi skill operation, executing as per plan and training all the associates to follow the safety standards pertaining to the line/product

**Your background**:

- BE or Diploma in electrical
- 10+yrs of experience in the similar industry
- Hands on experience in switchgear industry
- Knowledge about technical equipments
