**Designation**: Trainee Engineer

**Key roles and responsibilities include**:
**1. Production & Fabrication Support**
- Assist in the manufacturing process, including cutting, welding, machining, and assembly.
- Learn about fabrication techniques such as MIG, TIG welding, and plasma cutting.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.

**2. Quality Assurance & Inspection**
- Assist in inspecting fabricated components using measuring tools like verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure compliance with safety and manufacturing standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).

**3. Process Improvement & Efficiency**
- Observe and suggest improvements in workflow and production efficiency.
- Learn about lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen techniques.
- Support cost reduction and waste minimization initiatives.

**4. Equipment & Maintenance Assistance**
- Learn about the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery such as CNC machines, press brakes, and welding robots.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures.

**5. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain production logs, inspection reports, and process documentation.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

**6. Health & Safety Compliance**
- Follow workplace safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in risk assessment and hazard identification.

**7. Learning & Development**
- Work closely with senior engineers and supervisors for hands-on training.
- Attend training sessions on technical and managerial skills.

This role is primarily focused on learning and gradually taking on more responsibilities to become a full-fledged engineer in the heavy fabrication industry.
