Position: Field Sales Executive - Switch Industries / Home Automation
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
Prospect for potential clients in the switch industries and home automation markets. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and participation in industry events.
- Client Relationship Management:
Develop and nurture relationships with electrical contractors, builders, architects, and home automation firms. Offer customized solutions and provide ongoing technical support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge & Demonstrations:
Showcase and demonstrate a variety of switches, automation systems, and related electrical products. Keep abreast of industry trends and the latest technological advancements.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Keep detailed sales records, prepare comprehensive reports, and perform market analyses. Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the sales manager, marketing team, and technical support staff to meet sales objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in field sales, ideally within the electrical, switch industries, or home automation sectors.
- Strong sales, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Technical knowledge of electrical products and home automation systems.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the designated territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive base salary plus commission, along with benefits such as health insurance, a travel allowance, and performance-based bonuses.
