**Responsibilities**:

- **Content Development**: Assist the author in brainstorming ideas, outlining chapters, and developing content for the book. This includes drafting passages, chapters, and other written materials as needed.
- **Editing and Proofreading**: Review and edit written content for clarity, coherence, grammar, and style. Ensure that all content meets the author's standards and adheres to the book's overall tone and voice.
- **Collaborative Work**: Collaborate closely with the author to refine ideas, discuss feedback, and incorporate revisions into the manuscript. Work collaboratively with other team members, including editors, designers, and marketers, to ensure the successful completion of the book project.
- **Research and Development**: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to book writing and publishing. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant academic program (e.g., English, Creative Writing, Literature, Journalism, Communications).
- Strong writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Excellent research skills, including the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in writing, editing, or publishing is preferred but not required.
- A strong interest in literature, writing, and the publishing industry.

**Duration**:
This is a 3 month internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
