Assistant Furniture Designer

**Key responsibilities**:
1. To have strong Verbal and Written communication skills in English, to interact with clients one on one, and to understand their requirements.

2. To be able to Liaise with craftsmen, or with various departments of the company: marketing, production, supply, and sales, regarding the process of manufacture.

3. Plan the design and select suitable materials including wood, metal, plastic or têxtiles.

4. To Create technical drawings and specifications for furniture production using softwares like _3ds max and sketchup._

5.Build and create sample models for production teams (e.g. carpenters and woodworkers) to work from.

6. To be able to suggest ways to improve furniture items already manufactured.

7. Keep up-to-date with current trends in furniture design.
- **Job requirement**:
1. Bachelor's degree in furniture design, industrial design, product design or a related field (preferred)

2. Basic knowledge of furniture design ( wood working) and manufacturing.

3. Strong behavioral attributes such as orientation towards team work, ethics, crisp and meaningful communication.

4. Proficiency in 3D modeling and technical drawing software

5. Intuitiveness to understand design and curiosity to learn and work with different materials.

**Salary**: ₹17,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
