We are seeking a female Admission Counselor for our school at Kharar, Mohali

A **School Admission Counselor** plays a crucial role in the student enrollment process, assisting prospective students and their families in navigating the school’s admission procedures

**Responsibilities**:

- **Admissions Process Management**:

- **Interviews**: Conduct interviews with prospective students and families to assess their fit for the school and to understand their educational needs and aspirations.
- **Student and Family Support**:

- **Guidance and Counseling**: Provide information and advice to prospective students and their families about the school’s programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and other resources.
- **Clarifying Expectations**: Help families understand the school's mission, values, culture, and curriculum offerings.
- **Onboarding New Students**: Assist newly admitted students and families with the registration process, school orientation, and other pre-admission formalities.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:

- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of applicants, admissions decisions, and communications with families.
- **Database Management**: Utilize the school’s admission software to track applicants and ensure timely follow-ups.
- **Collaboration with Faculty and Administration**:

- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with other school staff, including teachers, administrators, and the marketing department, to align on the school’s goals for enrollment and recruitment.
- **School Policies and Updates**: Stay informed about any changes in school policies, admission criteria, or academic programs to accurately communicate them to families.
- **Event Coordination**:

- **Open Houses and Tours**: Organize and lead campus tours, information sessions, and open houses for prospective families.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the admission process, ensuring a positive experience for all families.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in education, counseling, communications, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred, depending on the school.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in school admissions, counseling, or student services is often required.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals, including students, parents, faculty, and staff.
- **Cultural Sensitivity**: Awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural and social backgrounds of students and families.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Familiarity with student information systems (SIS), admissions software, and basic office software like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
