Job Description - Executive Import
1. Maintain control and ensure regulations to all import processes and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new custom requirements and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures.
2. Assist to obtain all required import permits and utilization of licenses for all processes.
3. Coordinate with the sourcing department to establish an efficient import classification and prepare tariff schedule.
4. Provide an efficient interface with freight forwarders and administer all freight logistics and provide optimal level of customer services and resolve all shipment issues.
5. Perform audit on all import files on a regular basis.
6. Monitor and provide response to all custom inquiries and requests and obtain required product certifications for all export and import products for custom clearance.
7. Plan import purchase right from monitoring inventory, placing PO’s, coordinating with supplier for shipment, coordinating with freight forwarder/CHA’s for lowest cost & ensuring materials reach factory on time.
Minimum Qualification:
- Min Any Graduate.
