Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test CCTV and other systems
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the systems
- Run cables, mount cameras, and set up recording devices and monitors
- Ensure proper integration of CCTV systems with access control and alarm systems
- Diagnose faults and replace defective components
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and repairs
- Provide technical support and training to clients or internal teams
- Stay updated on the latest surveillance technologies and industry standards
- Comply with safety regulations and company protocols during installations

Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (1-3 years preferred)
- Familiarity with DVR/NVR systems, IP configurations, and networking basics
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Physical fitness to handle equipment and work at heights or confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license (if fieldwork is required)

Preferred Attributes
- Experience with integrated security systems
- Knowledge of remote monitoring software and mobile apps
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity as it relates to surveillance systems
