**Job Title**: Account Executive - GST
**Location**: Ambli-Bopal
**Department**: Finance/Accounts
**Reporting To**: Senior Accountant/Finance Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **GST Compliance**:

- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) on time.
- Ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations.
- Reconcile GST input tax credit with vendor filings.
- **Accounts Management**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts related to GST and other financial records.
- Handle vendor payments and invoicing, ensuring GST compliance.
- Monitor GST liabilities and refunds.
- **Taxation and Audits**:

- Assist in GST audits and assessments, providing necessary data and support.
- Resolve discrepancies and queries raised by tax authorities.
- Coordinate with auditors for GST-related matters.
- **Real Estate Specific Compliance**:

- Track GST-related aspects of project billing, land transactions, and development agreements.
- Understand the implications of GST on joint development agreements (JDAs) and construction contracts.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Provide financial insights by analyzing GST trends and data.
- Prepare MIS reports on GST input/output and reconciliations.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the finance team, legal advisors, and external consultants.
- Train and guide junior team members on GST regulations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certification in GST or taxation (e.g., GST Practitioner Certification) is an added advantage.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of GST laws and regulations, specifically for the real estate sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or Zoho Books) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in GST accounting, compliance, and real estate finance.
- Prior experience in a real estate company or handling real estate accounts is preferred.

**Salary**: Competitive and based on experience.
