**Location**: Naksha Tree Hotels, Chennai

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems, including split units, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and exhaust fans.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections on HVAC systems to ensure maximum efficiency and durability.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, replace defective parts, and complete necessary repairs.
- Monitor and adjust building temperature and humidity settings to maintain guest comfort.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and repairs performed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations, especially regarding refrigerant handling and disposal.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints related to air conditioning and ventilation and resolve issues professionally.
- Assist with energy-saving initiatives and support the hotel's sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with other departments and maintenance team members to deliver prompt service and minimize downtime.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and split units.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces if necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service attitude.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in HVAC systems maintenance and refrigerant handling.
- Previous experience in eco-friendly hotels or green building operations.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
