**Department**: Media/Production
**Reports to**: Creative Director/Producer

**Job Overview**:
The Video Editor is responsible for assembling raw footage into polished video content that aligns with the company’s vision and goals. The role involves managing the entire post-production process, including editing, audio integration, color correction, and visual effects. The editor collaborates closely with directors, producers, and other team members to create high-quality content for a variety of platforms such as television, social media, web, and corporate videos.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Editing & Post-Production**:

- Review raw footage and identify the best material to create engaging stories.
- Edit video footage to ensure the correct sequence, pacing, and transitions.
- Integrate music, dialogue, sound effects, and graphics to enhance video quality.
- Ensure color correction, grading, and consistency in tone and style throughout the video.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to understand project goals and deliver the desired vision.
- Offer creative input during the editing process to improve the narrative or visual impact.
- Collaborate with sound designers, graphic artists, and animators to enhance the final product.
- **Content Adaptation**:

- Edit content for different platforms (social media, websites, TV, YouTube, etc.) ensuring that it meets specific platform requirements (aspect ratio, file size, etc.).
- Repurpose existing content to suit multiple formats.
- **Asset Management**:

- Organize and manage digital assets, including footage, audio, graphics, and project files.
- Maintain backups and ensure the security of media files during and after production.
- **Visual Effects & Enhancements**:

- Add visual effects, animations, and motion graphics where needed to enhance the story or message.
- Ensure smooth integration of VFX with live-action footage (if applicable).
- **Quality Control**:

- Review and troubleshoot final video outputs for any technical issues (syncing errors, bad cuts, etc.).
- Ensure final edits meet technical standards, including resolution, audio levels, and overall quality.
- **Deadline Management**:

- Ensure timely delivery of projects while balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding project status and any potential delays.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest editing software, tools, and industry trends.
- Explore new techniques and creative editing styles to keep the content fresh and innovative.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 1year of experience
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,
- Adobe After Effects.
