TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
- The Strategic E-sourcing Analyst within this eSourcing team is part of our TE Connectivity Strategic Sourcing Center of Excellence team. The team will support direct material strategic sourcing initiatives across the Industrial Business Unit (approx. 20 production sites) of TE Connectivity.
- In this role you will be supporting execution of web-based sourcing events (i.e., RFI & RFQ, Auctions) from start to finish via the Jaggaer e-sourcing platform.
- You will work closely with E-sourcing leader, the Strategic/Commodity team & Tactical/operational Procurement team and other functions to ensure meet internal needs and requirements.
- Supporting supplier trainings.
- Create and execute e-Sourcing events (RFx events and auctions) from start to finish, in close alignment with internal Strategic/Commodity team & Tactical/operational Procurement team, and ensure high quality of work with attention to detail
- Collaborate with strategic sourcing commodity teams and divisions on project strategy/tactics and tailor sourcing execution methods based on best practices
- Provide responses / recommendations to internal stakeholder and supplier questions in a professional and timely manner
- Develop and maintain pipeline of potential eSourcing events together with the global strategic sourcing commodity team
- Assist with creating e-Sourcing related standard work (i.e. templates) and regular update presentations
- Develop Direct Commodity expertise, industry specific knowledge as well as e-Sourcing knowledge to become a Jaggaer super user.

**What your background should look like**:
**Education Degree**:
Bachelor degree in Economics, supply chain, business administration, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent

**Professional Experience**:

- 1-3 years or more, of work experience (can include internship work) in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, and/or Data Analytics.
- A high-level of Emotional Intelligence and ability to build effective relationships and trust. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in Excel (including Lookups, Pivot tables/Charts, PowerPivot, Advanced Formulas) and/or PowerBI or similar tools (e.g. Tableau) to provide reporting and analysis to the Enterprise. Training will be available.
- Leading multiple team member experience is a plus.

- Strong customer service orientation including relationship management, conducting demonstrations/training, and managing issues through resolution.
- Demonstrated project management, prioritization, and time management, skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Periodic travel to TE Connectivity production facilities, Supplier sites, industry and internal conferences, and internal and External training (~10% of time)
- Fluency in additional languages is welcome but not required (e.g. Chinese/Mandarin)
- Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
