The Medical Officer is responsible for providing clinical care, overseeing medical services, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This role involves diagnosis, treatment, preventive healthcare, supervision of clinical staff, and coordination with other departments for integrated healthcare delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform medical examinations, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical regulations.
- Supervise junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure adherence to medical ethics and standard treatment protocols.
- Conduct health education and awareness programs.
- Participate in medical audits, quality assurance, and improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with laboratories and radiology departments for test results and reports.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
- Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times.
- Participate in public health initiatives and outreach programs, if applicable.
- Maintain continuous professional development and stay updated on latest medical advances.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
