Central CCAR PPNR

This Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis role provides analysis, and insight for the consolidated long-term planning and CCAR Stress Testing processes at Citi. The role works in a team that interacts closely with each business unit in Citi to create and model financial results and projections for each line of business. Through this analysis, the team facilitates the stress testing projections, which are used for the regulatory Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review process (CCAR). Deliverables include, but are not limited to, quarterly forecasts and downside scenario generation, analytics of P&L and balance sheet components, Benchmarking Analysis, review of forecasting methodologies, Y14A Federal Reserve templates, Part 30 projects working on strict deadlines from FRB, ad-hoc analysis and presentations for regulators, Board of Directors, Operating Committee and senior stakeholders. The work involves a mix of analytics, forecasting governance, and project/process improvement work as part of the quarterly forecasting process. A critical component of the role is to provide Independent Review and Challenge of the CCAR results and process, including analytics and results to the PPNR Senior Governance Group. Additionally, the role also includes working on Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) for PPNR work stream.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage a team of 10+ individuals working on a very niche regulatory role of CCAR.
Work closely with Senior Management to ensure broader goals of the firm are met from a forecasting point of view.
Strategically drive initiative to align CCAR and Business Plan activities to be run on a quarterly basis seamlessly.
Guidance for FP&A activities for long-term planning and CCAR, including liaising with global Finance business units, Risk and Treasury; the ability to build partnerships is very important.
Oversee Benchmark model analysis with Champion models, drive the discussions, review the variations, and present it to senior management.
Manage Review and Challenge of all CCAR activities, including overlays, results, qualitative modeling approaches / expert judgment
Review and Challenge of PPNR key assumptions and analysis of key sensitivities which will be presented to senior management and the Board.
Review 14a reporting analysis to ensure numbers are in-line with the expectation before they are approved by LFOs/CFOs.
Run transformation activities related to Internal Audit CAPs, Consent Order and Quarterly CCAR reporting.
Strategically analyze numbers of Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) for PPNR work stream.
Drive business engagement on base and stress results, highlighting key drivers, risks and business specific initiatives
Review presentations and analysis of review and challenge activities / results to PPNR Senior Governance Group
Drive key resolution of Fed questions / variance analysis, develop and review Fed materials.
Change agent mentality and ability to manage a broader team are very important
Be a very quick learner, ready to dive in to details, gain good business knowledge of all Citi businesses, and become a PPNR expert / go-to leader
Create Metrics in the team to demonstrate the overall team performance, issues, resolution and escalations.
Develop a robust control environment for the processes run within the team.

**Qualifications**:
10 years of relevant finance / business / accounting in financial services
Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
Financial product knowledge particularly in Markets and Banking area is preferred
Ability to understand CCAR scenarios, macro-economic variables, and their impact on Citi’s Institutional and Retail businesses
Ability to translate complex financial schedules into meaningful analysis and presentations
Demonstrated strategic skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist with decision making
Strong interpersonal skills, with a balance of assertiveness and discretion to be a credible and sought after resource
Flexibility to be effective and persuasive with senior management
Ability to build key cross-functional and cross-business relationships
Change agent mentality to drive for process enhancements and simplification; demonstrated ability to lead projects
