**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using various diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Diagnose visual problems and eye diseases, such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and maintenance of eye health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and eye care through continuous education and training.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
- Valid optometry license in India.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a specialized eye care facility or hospital.
- Knowledge of the latest advancements and techniques in optometry.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
