Interior Designer - Furnish & Furnishings

Job Summary:
An Interior Designer - Furnish & Furnishings is responsible for curating and selecting premium furniture, décor, têxtiles, and accessories to create sophisticated and functional spaces. This role requires a strong eye for aesthetics, expertise in material selection, and the ability to craft interiors that reflect refinement and exclusivity. The designer must also have strong client-conversion skills, the ability to pitch products effectively, and a proactive approach to business development. Occasionally, the role may require in-person meetings with clients to discuss and finalize selections.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation, Pitching & Conversion:

- Engage with clients to understand their style preferences, spatial requirements, and functional needs.
- Effectively pitch and present products, convincing clients of the value and uniqueness of the offerings.
- Convert prospects into customers by building trust and demonstrating expertise.
- Occasionally travel for meetings to present concepts, finalize selections, and build strong relationships.

2. Premium Furnishings & Décor Selection:

- Source and recommend high-end furniture, custom-made pieces, fabrics, and accessories.
- Collaborate with master craftsmen and exclusive vendors to develop bespoke furnishings.
- Ensure all selections harmonize with the overall design theme and enhance spatial elegance.

3. Space Planning & Styling:

- Plan and optimize furniture layouts for aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.
- Oversee the arrangement and styling of furnishings to create a seamless and sophisticated look.
- Integrate color schemes, textures, and materials for a cohesive and elegant ambiance.

4. Market Research & Trend Analysis:

- Stay updated on emerging trends in furniture, têxtiles, and design aesthetics.
- Explore new materials, artisans, and exclusive collections to offer distinctive designs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in interior furnishing, furniture selection, or décor styling.

Technical & Creative Skills:

- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite).
- Expertise in furniture materials, craftsmanship, and finishing techniques.
- Strong spatial planning, color theory, and styling proficiency.

Soft Skills:

- Strong client-pitching and convincing abilities.
- Business development mindset with a proactive approach to client acquisition.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
- Visionary thinking with the ability to conceptualize unique and refined interiors.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for refined aesthetics.
- Strong project coordination and time management capabilities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
