**who are we?**

we are _yo_, a soon-to-launch startup from Brazil. we want to revolutionize how English communication is spread online by creating a safe environment where tutors and learners can be themselves - no strict lesson flows, no lesson plans, just **REAL FUN**

**we are ideally looking for someone who**:

- can speak English fluently and confidently (no certificates required, but having one is certainly an advantage)
- is very eager to help and assist learners improve their skills and cater to their needs
- is creative, open-minded, and has exceptional communication skills
- has a high speed and stable internet connection, and suitable equipment (laptop, good quality audio and video), as well as a quiet working environment at home
- has previous experience which required the use of English daily, such as an English tutor, a customer service professional or any other work experience in the international hospitality field (nice to have, but not essential)
- is available for sessions at least **6 hours a day** (preferably but not mandatory)
- is at least 18 years old

- informal, relaxed, and fun - you don’t have to follow a script, you just have to be **you**
- freestyle convos, sessions oriented towards the learner’s needs, or with materials from our online library
- **25** minutes long
