**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic **Academic Counselor** to join our team at Gadge Nagar, Amaravati Branch 2. The Academic Counselor will play a key role in providing academic guidance and support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals. This position requires a strong understanding of academic processes, effective communication skills, and a passion for fostering student success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Counseling & Guidance**:

- Provide individual and group academic counseling to students.
- Help students develop effective study habits, time management skills, and goal-setting techniques.
- Identify students facing academic challenges and provide appropriate interventions and support.

2. **Career and Course Planning**:

- Assist students in selecting appropriate courses based on their interests, skills, and academic goals.
- Guide students on career choices and educational pathways.

3. **Monitoring & Evaluation**:

- Monitor student progress and academic performance, offering timely feedback and support.
- Work with teachers and staff to track students' academic achievements and areas for improvement.

4. **Workshops and Seminars**:

- Organize and conduct workshops on various academic skills, including study techniques, stress management, and exam strategies.
- Conduct career guidance and personal development seminars for students.

5. **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student meetings, progress, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding counseling activities and student development.

6. **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with faculty, parents, and school administrators to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
- Assist in the development and implementation of academic policies and programs.
**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certification in counseling is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Prior experience in academic counseling or student support services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of educational systems, student development, and counseling techniques.
