**The Job Opening is with a leading General Insurance company for their office in Bangalore.**

**Role : Manager : Property Underwriting/Commercial Underwriting**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deciding whether or not to offer insurance to the proposed to be insured, and also on the terms and conditions with which an individual can be accepted, i.e. with additional premiums, waiting periods, exclusions, deductibles or any other sub-standard terms as defined by the underwriting guidelines.
- Decision on acceptance with revised terms and conditions will need to be processed in system and will be required to be done in new business, renewal or endorsement proposals within the preview of the underwriting guidelines.
- Any analysis, review or quality assessment as required by the senior underwriter or underwriting team lead.
- Also have **hand on experience in Property Underwriting and Commercial Underwriting.**
