**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **International SEO Strategy Development**: Lead the development of comprehensive international SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase visibility for websites targeting multiple regions and languages.
- **Multilingual SEO**: Develop strategies for optimizing content across multiple languages and regions, ensuring effective use of hreflang tags, localized keywords, and culturally relevant content.
- **Global Keyword Research**: Conduct thorough keyword research for international markets, identifying opportunities for ranking in different languages and regions. Implement a strategy for global keyword targeting that drives organic traffic and conversions.
- **On-Page Optimization**: Optimize website structure, meta tags, header tags, URLs, and other on-page elements to improve performance across multiple languages and regions. Ensure that SEO tactics align with localized preferences and behavior.
- **Technical SEO for International Sites**: Oversee the technical aspects of international SEO, including site architecture, URL structure, server localization, and language targeting. Ensure proper implementation of international SEO standards (e.g., hreflang, geotargeting, etc.).
- **Content Localization & Optimization**: Work with content teams to ensure content is optimized for local search behavior, including keyword targeting, content quality, and engagement. Ensure the content meets cultural sensitivities and provides value to local users.
- **Cross-Regional Coordination**: Collaborate with regional and local teams to ensure SEO strategies are aligned with each market's business objectives. Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to develop and implement global campaigns.
- **Link Building and Outreach**: Develop and execute an international link-building strategy to improve domain authority and organic rankings across various global markets. Ensure backlinks are relevant, authoritative, and locally meaningful.
- **Analytics & Reporting**: Monitor and analyze the performance of international SEO efforts using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Provide actionable insights, reporting on KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.
- **Competitor Analysis**: Conduct thorough competitor analysis in each target region to identify SEO opportunities, gaps, and emerging trends. Adjust strategies to stay ahead of global competitors.
- **Local Search Optimization**: Manage and optimize local search strategies for various international regions, including Google My Business and local directories. Ensure that location-based searches are targeted effectively in each market.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices. Continuously test and optimize international SEO strategies to ensure high performance and adaptation to changes in the SEO landscape.
**Key Skills & Experience**:
- **Experience**: 5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a focus on international and multilingual SEO strategies.
- **International SEO Expertise**: Proven experience managing international SEO campaigns, including optimizing websites for multiple languages, regions, and cultural markets.
- **Multilingual & Multicultural Awareness**: Strong understanding of the nuances of multilingual and multicultural SEO, including localization strategies, language-specific SEO practices, and the importance of cultural relevance.
- **Keyword Research & Analysis**: Advanced skills in conducting international keyword research and understanding how keyword behavior changes across different languages and regions.
- **Technical SEO Knowledge**: Expertise in international technical SEO practices, including hreflang tags, international site structure, and geo-targeting. Experience in optimizing websites with a global presence.
- **Content Optimization**: Experience in working with content teams to optimize content for local markets, including understanding how to integrate local SEO practices, keyword optimization, and cultural relevance into content.
- **Analytics & Tools Proficiency**: Proficiency in using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- **Link Building & Outreach**: Experience in building high-quality, region-specific backlinks to improve site authority and rankings in international markets.
- **Global Marketing Collaboration**: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across global offices, including marketing, product, design, and local teams, to ensure cohesive strategies across all regions.
