This is a data Architect role for an enterprise customer and hence someone who has a holistic understanding of data space with sharp focus on architecting/re-architecting is needed. Having said so, PFB the JD aligned with customer requirement
- **Responsibilities:

- **
- Design and implement data architecture strategies that support the organization's data-driven initiatives. Should have ownership of solution design that meets the objectives.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based data solutions, leveraging private cloud & Azure.
- Create and manage ETL processes to move and transform data from various sources into a structured format for analysis. Work with analysts to understand data sources, attributes, and devise mechanisms for ETL.
- Build and maintain scalable big data architectures that can handle vast amounts of data while ensuring performance and reliability. Oversee development is in line with the design.
- Design and optimize databases to handle analytical workloads, ensuring data availability and performance.
- Utilize MEAN/MERN/Python stacks for data processing, analytics, and reporting.
- Implement, manage, and optimize ETL platforms, ensuring data integration and transformation processes are efficient and error-free.
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with data standards.
- Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, ETL processes, and data flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand and address data requirements.

**Tools & Technologies**:

- Hadoop, Hive, Spark, any stream processing, Kafka and containerization/Kubernetes.
- Functional programming Scala, Kafka Connect, Spark streaming, Helm Charts, hands-on experience in Kubernetes
