**Job Summary**:
As a Medical Reviewer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of medical records within our healthcare organization. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing and analyzing medical records to support clinical and administrative decision-making processes.

**Role & responsibilities**:
**1) Medical Review**:

- Thoroughly review patient medical records, including electronic health records (EHRs), paper charts, and other relevant documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of patient information, including demographics, medical history, and clinical notes.
- Ensure that medical records are organized and maintained according to established protocols and standards.

**2) Data Analysis**:

- Analyze medical data to identify trends and patterns, including diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and test results.
- Interpret medical terminology, abbreviations, and codes to extract meaningful information.
- Identify and flag any inconsistencies, errors, or missing data within medical records.

**3) Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure medical records adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including patient privacy (HIPAA).
- Collaborate with the compliance team to address any issues related to recordkeeping or documentation.

**4) Report Generation**:

- Generate detailed reports summarizing key findings from medical record reviews and analyses.
- Communicate any identified issues or opportunities for improvement to relevant healthcare professionals, administrators, or departments.

**5) Documentation Improvement**:

- Collaborate with healthcare providers, coders, and documentation specialists to improve the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for enhancing documentation practices.

**6) Training and Education**:

- Stay current with industry standards, coding updates, and regulatory changes related to medical record keeping.
- Provide training and educational sessions to healthcare staff on proper documentation practices and compliance.

**7) Research and Evaluation**:

- Assist in clinical research projects by extracting and analyzing relevant data from medical records.
- Evaluate the impact of changes in healthcare policies or procedures on medical record documentation.

**8) Interdepartmental Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, coders, and administrative staff, to ensure coordinated care and accurate documentation.

**9) Technology Utilization**:

- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information management (HIM) software, and data analysis tools to facilitate record reviews and data extraction.

**10) Continuous Improvement**:

- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical review and analysis processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide input for process enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, physiotherapy, and dentistry.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: ₹14,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
