We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Illustrator to join our team remotely. As a Junior Illustrator, you will play a crucial role in the creation of 2D sketches for 2D animation projects. Your artistic skills and attention to detail will help bring our characters, scenes, and stories to life. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with a strong foundation in illustration and a desire to grow their skills in the animation industry. You will also work with social media creatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the animation team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visually appealing 2D sketches.
- Create rough sketches and storyboards that effectively communicate ideas and narrative sequences.
- Refine and iterate on sketches based on feedback from the team, ensuring they align with the artistic vision and requirements of the project.
- Maintain consistent artistic style, adhering to established design guidelines and visual references.
- Collaborate with animators, character designers, and other team members to ensure the smooth transition from sketches to final animations.
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and tools, and share insights with the team.

**Requirements**:

- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling 2D sketches and storyboards.
- Proficiency in traditional and digital illustration techniques, with a keen eye for detail, composition, and anatomy.
- Excellent drawing skills and the ability to quickly translate ideas into sketches.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, visual narrative, and character development.
- Proficient in relevant software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other industry-standard illustration tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.
- A passion for animation, storytelling, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- A bachelor's degree in illustration, animation, or a related field is preferred but not required.

**Certifications**:
While certifications are not mandatory, the following certifications can be beneficial for a Junior Illustrator in the field of 2D animation:

- Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) in Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Any relevant certifications in traditional art, drawing, or illustration techniques.
