**Required Technician - OT & Anaesthesia (Male)**

**Qualification : B.Sc/Diploma in OT & Anaesthesia Technology**

**Experience : 2 or more years of experience is required**

**Job Profile -**
- Assist the anesthesiologist.
- Monitoring and recording vitals during anaesthesia.
- Maintain operation theatre equipment and ensure a clean, safe and efficient environment for patient and staff.
- Follow universal precautions of all surgical cases.
- To assist in the preparation and positioning of the patient.
- Care of advanced airways like endotracheal tube, supraglotic airways.
- Assisting for all vascular venous access (Peripheral line, arterial, CVP etc.)
- Assisting for intubation
- Assist in the patient procedure if required.
- Communicate to the surgeons regarding the equipment and positioning for the surgery.
- Positioning of the patient with adequate safety parameters and be in the theatre till the patient has been transferred to recovery or ICU.
- Arrangement of the anesthesia medicines and equipment’s for various cases
- Maintenance of instruments and equipment’s related to anesthesia
- Assisting for any emergencies in ICU, Endoscopy, Radiology, Cathlab etc.
- Assist anesthesiologist during emergencies like CPR.
- Collection of blood from invasive lines.
- Assisting for naso gastric tube insertion
- Equipment checking
- Assisting for spinal, epidural and regional nerve block anaesthesia
- Requesting for blood products to Blood bank for use in OT
- Administration of anaesthesia drug under the supervision of anaesthetist.
- Shifting patients from Pre OP to OT
- Shifting patients from OT to PACU or ICU
- Strictly follow biomedical waste management and infection control practices.
- Report malfunctioning of equipments to OT Manager
- Keep the biomedical register for maintenance and repair.
- Maintain equipment stock register and inventory every week.
- Fill the equipment checklist for each patient and same shall be documented in the HIS for monthly equipment utilization.
- To utilize resources effectively and efficiently
- Assist the preoperative preparation in case of emergency situations.
- To keep equipment’s ready to perform emergency surgeries.
- In case of repair / replacement inform biomedical engineer while entering the complaint to the doctors bazzar and follow the instructions of BME.
- To be available for extended duties in case of any emergency surgery after duty hours.
- Maintain the attendance register in the department along with the biometric punching system.

Pay: ₹264,000.00 - ₹336,000.00 per year
