**Roles and Responsibility**

Job Title: Manual Tester

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

JD:
Scope of Work:

- Writing SQL queries for testing various functionalities for database testing
- Manual Testing for releases
- Creating and maintaining Regression test plans
- Risk based testing.
- Review requirements, specifications, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and identify relevant automated tests to be developed.
- Develop, review, and validate test scripts and test plans for all phases of testing,
- Create and manage various test environment setups.
- Consult colleagues concerning QA and testing of software systems.
- Develop reports or metrics about the testing.
- Any other test related activity as directed.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- University degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems or related field
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification or the equivalent working experience is desirable.

**Experience**:

- Working knowledge of SQL and of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Manual testing is required.
- Experience in creating and managing regression test plans is required.
- Experience in setting up test environment is required.
- Extensive experience in creating/updating manual test cases and executing test cases is required.
- Experience in risk-based testing is required.
- Experience in Defect Management is required.
- Ability to work in multicultural environment is required.
- Experience in Database and API Testing is required.
- Practical experience and knowledge of Test Management tools such as Microsoft Test
- Manager, is desirable.
- Experience with build tools such as Microsoft TFS is desirable.
- Experience of working with Windows forms testing is desirable.
- Experience in Windows WPF, SOA, XML is desirable.
- Language: For this post, fluency in English is required.
