**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with the student's parents, teachers, and other support staff.
- Assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs using appropriate assessment tools and techniques.
- Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' individual needs and learning styles, ensuring access to the curriculum and promoting academic and social growth.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies, interventions, and accommodations to support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional development.
- Provide direct instruction to students in areas such as reading, writing, math, social skills, communication, and adaptive functioning.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to develop and implement differentiated instruction and behavior management plans for students with disabilities.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies and accommodations as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, including IEP goals, assessment data, and progress reports.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, providing updates on student progress, discussing strategies for support, and collaborating on intervention plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team setting, attending meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in special education.
- Stay informed about current best practices, research, and legal requirements in special education, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is required. A certification in special education is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Special Educator, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and behavioral challenges, along with an understanding of different instructional methods and interventions.
- Familiarity with the legal and ethical guidelines related to special education, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, techniques, and data analysis in special education.
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs, taking into account individual student needs and goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students with disabilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
