**Job Title**: Barista

**Location**: Sage & Lavender, Alwarpet, Chennai

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all coffee products by properly calibrating and maintaining equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders, processing payments, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation areas, equipment, and serving areas, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate any replenishment needs to management in a timely manner.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance coffee knowledge and develop new skills in brewing techniques, flavor profiles, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafe, including assisting with food preparation, cleaning duties, and other tasks as needed.
- Uphold company standards for product quality, presentation, and customer service, striving to exceed customer expectations with every interaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Hotel Management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
