Nursing Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
Manages and coordinates the daily operations of nursing units, ensuring optimal staffing, adherence to clinical standards, and the delivery of safe, compassionate, and effective patient care. This role serves as a liaison between nurses, physicians, patients, and administrative staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including assigning duties and evaluating performance.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Coordinate patient care activities and ensure continuity of care.
- Address and resolve patient or staff issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate staffing levels based on patient census and acuity.
- Provide leadership in emergency situations or during off-hours.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports for administrative purposes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Provide education and mentorship to nursing staff to encourage professional development.
**Qualifications**:
- Karnataka Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Bachelor of Science/Diploma in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of clinical nursing experience, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
