The student should have strong background in:
1. RF circuit design fundamentals. Example circuits include RF switches, LNAs, PA, VCO, Mixer etc.,

2. Hands on experience with Cadence schematic and layout editors

The student is also expected to have good understanding of

1. MOS device operation

2. Some scripting background - MATLAB, Python, Perl etc.,
