Pgt Maths Teacher

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including direct instruction, collaborative learning, and hands-on activities, to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas, making mistakes, and seeking help when needed.
- Assess student learning through a combination of formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, exams, projects, and presentations.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary connections and technology into the mathematics curriculum.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mathematics education, and incorporate new ideas and techniques into your teaching practice.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license (if required by state or country).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level (high school).
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and principles across various topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative approach to instruction and the ability to engage students in active learning experiences.
