Job Summary

The MIS (Management Information System) Officer will be responsible for managing, organizing, and analyzing data related to the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) projects. This includes overseeing data entry, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy to support project objectives and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
- **Data Collection & Management**:

- Collect, organize, and validate data related to TNSDC project activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry in the MIS system, adhering to TNSDC guidelines and standards.
- Maintain a central database for all project information, including participant details, training outcomes, assessments, and placements.
- **Reporting & Analysis**:

- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for project performance, including progress metrics, attendance, placement records, and outcome analysis.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, assisting project managers in assessing project impact and areas of improvement.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to the TNSDC and project stakeholders.
- **Data Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular data checks to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify data gaps and work with field teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Implement data validation processes and ensure adherence to data confidentiality policies.
- **Support & Coordination**:

- Coordinate with field teams, trainers, and other stakeholders for data collection and reporting.
- Provide training and support to project staff on data entry procedures, report generation, and MIS tools.
- Assist in updating MIS protocols and ensuring compliance with TNSDC guidelines.
- **Technical Support**:

- Maintain the MIS infrastructure, including hardware and software related to data management.
- Troubleshoot basic MIS issues and liaise with IT support if needed for system upgrades or technical fixes.
- Work with the IT department to enhance system capabilities to meet project requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in MIS or data management roles, preferably within government or skill development projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, data management software, and knowledge of TNSDC MIS systems is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and data analysis capabilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with field teams, management, and other stakeholders.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
