**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
Reporting to the Training Manager with responsibilities to
- Comply and implement the quality standards of the Training Centre in all training and office activities.
- Conduct skill-based, behavioral, and technical training to officers and ratings on various shipboard operations in compliance with Course Manuals.
- Deliver Simulator-based operational/management-level training for Deck Officers and develop simulator exercises and scenarios based on training needs.
- Develop course manuals, training exercises, assessments, and other training-related documents. Periodically revise course Master files, PPTs, exercises, assessments, etc incorporating new regulations, best industry practices, feedback, and training needs.
- Ensure courses are conducted with adherence to the course manuals and all set requirements are complied with including documentation.
- Participate and collaborate in the development and review of Computer-based Training modules as required.
- Handle non-compliance by identifying and recording all deficiencies related to training activities, and initiate preventive action in consultation with the Training Manager.
- Conduct periodic Verification and review of courses and incorporate required changes

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Qualifications**:

- Marine Engineer Officer Class I - COC from India / UK.
- With min. 1 year rank experience as Master(Prefer to have different ship type experience - LNG/ LPG/ Tanker).
- Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA) or Vertical Integration Course for Trainers (VICT)
- Other ISO / ISM / Technical Value-added courses.

**Experience**:

- Min. 12 months sea-time as an Master of Foreign Going vessel.
- Preferred experience in Ship operation, ship repair, teaching, auditing, inspections.
- Preferred seagoing experience on Oil / Chemical or Gas Tankers.

**Desired**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be interested in modern teaching methodologies.
- Proficient in use of computers and savvy with use of various softwares.
