Shift Incharge - Production
Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible and deploy best working practices are maintained at all times- Responsible for plant production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities- Update the production plan on a daily basis- Communicate and liaise with other departmental managers regarding throughput of stock to ensure production targets are met- Drive process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors- Ability to define and utilize real time shopfloor management systems in order to react to variations in customer demand- Ability to execute operations line with the expected level of safety, quality, cost and time ISO 9001-2015 standards- Ability to use KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor industrial performance in order to drive decision making (quote investments, forecast costs, calculate profitability, etc.)- Ability to design and implement manufacturing processes for new offers allowing the best operational performance in safety and environment, quality, service, costs and capital engaged- Direct, Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the plant operations- Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of communication (intra and inter department)- Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions- Thorough knowledge of factory related statutory compliances- Ensure the Compliance of all the regulatory and mandatory requirements of the organization- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices across the function to aid and improve operational performance- Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization- Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability- Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required- Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity- Manage contractors on-site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders- Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost- Manage contractors on-site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements
Education and Experience requirements:
- B.E. (Mechanical/Chemical)- 5-7yrs of experience (Preferably in Manufacturing sector)
