Continental Cook

The Continental Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality continental dishes following standard recipes and hotel guidelines. The role includes handling a variety of European cuisines such as Italian, French, and Mediterranean, ensuring taste, presentation, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes such as pasta, steaks, grills, soups, sauces, and salads.
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines set by the Executive Chef.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain mise-en-place (food preparation) before each service.
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in kitchen operations and menu planning.
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages in time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Minimize food waste through proper portion control and storage.
- Support in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure smooth coordination with the service team for timely delivery of dishes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Continental Cook / Commis / Demi Chef in a hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating styles.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
