**Job Summary**:
The IRD Captain is responsible for supervising and coordinating in-room dining service operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This includes overseeing food preparation and delivery, managing guest orders, training IRD staff, and maintaining service standards in accordance with hotel policies and brand expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:Guest Service & Experience**:

- Take and confirm in-room dining orders accurately over the phone or tablet systems.
- Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service during food delivery.
- Assist guests with menu selections and special dietary needs or requests.

**Operational Oversight**:

- Supervise and guide IRD waiters/runners to maintain efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with the kitchen for order accuracy and timely preparation.
- Ensure all trays, trolleys, and equipment used in room service are clean, well-stocked, and promptly cleared from guest rooms.

**Quality Control**:

- Check the quality, presentation, and temperature of food and beverages before dispatching.
- Monitor hygiene and grooming standards of the IRD team.
- Ensure compliance with service standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.

**Training & Team Management**:

- Train and coach IRD team members on service protocols, upselling, and guest interaction.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate staff coverage.

**Revenue & Reporting**:

- Promote upselling of F&B items during order taking.
- Prepare daily reports, logbook entries, and billing verifications as required.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate if necessary.

**Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, with at least 1 year in in-room dining or supervisory role.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
