**Role Summary**
We’re looking for an AVP - Business Strategy and Operations for our Sales vertical. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the business, including revenue, customer engagement, and retention. This is a leadership role where you’ll define strategy, drive execution, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
Business Ownership & Strategy
- Own the P&L (profit and loss) for your vertical and deliver growth.
- Define go-to-market strategy, customer segments, and value propositions.
- Create quarterly and annual business plans aligned with company goals.
- Work with Product & Marketing to shape pricing, packaging, and positioning.
Sales & Expansion
Drive end-to-end sales: outbound targeting
- closure.
- Set and achieve sales targets; grow pipeline and improve conversion rates.
- Work with Sales Enablement on onboarding, training, and sales tools.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Lead Customer Success and Account Management teams.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and long-term value delivery.
- Build strong executive-level client relationships to drive renewals and expansion.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a team of Sales Managers, CSMs, Renewal Managers, and Analysts.
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability.
- Partner with Product & Tech teams to share customer needs and close gaps.
Process & Metrics
- Own weekly reviews on sales, success, and renewals across the vertical.
- Set up dashboards and reports to track business KPIs and customer health.
- Use data to run experiments, improve ROI, and inform strategic shifts.
**What We’re Looking For?**
- 6 - 10 years of experience in business strategy, P&L ownership, or sales leadership.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams (Sales, CS, Renewals).
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise sales is strongly preferred.
- Data-driven mindset; strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
