Job Title: Structural Draftsman

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, specifications, and design criteria.
- Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, and sections using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with project standards and drafting guidelines.
- Incorporate design changes, revisions, and markups into existing drawings accurately and efficiently.
- Create 3D models and building information modeling (BIM) content using Revit, if applicable, to enhance visualization and coordination efforts.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, material lists, and schedules based on drawings and specifications to support procurement and construction activities.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design issues, discrepancies, and conflicts identified during the drafting process.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain drawing files, documentation, and records in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of design documentation, technical reports, and presentation materials as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in drafting and detailing to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural drafting and detailing within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing of structural components and systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Revit or willingness to learn, with the ability to create 3D models and BIM content for structural projects.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, building codes, and construction practices related to structural engineering.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and professional development in the field of structural drafting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
