**ROLE: DATA SCIENTIST**

**About the Company**

Data Scientists / analysts are needed as part of our team. The analyst’s primary role would be to receive the business requirements and translate them into technical aspects that the developers can you as input to develop reports. Specifically, key result areas would include:

- Comprehending business requirements for analysis from cross-functional teams
- Planning and documenting the data analysis by converting requests into work steps to enable the technical team to develop the necessary dashboards and visualisations
- Guiding the ETL engineers and the dashboard developers through the analytical cycle
- Address feedback and modification requests
- Work efficiently as a team member and offer support to senior management through meaningful updates

**Role**:
The role requires a minimum of five years of experience in data analytics with a functional background in business processes, and intermediate knowledge of any analytical software. The analyst must demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently.

**Technical Capabilities**:
Proven work experience of five to six years as a Data Scientist or Analyst is essential.
- Strong understanding of business processes and control environment
- Proficient in translating business requirements into activities that the data engineer and visualisation team can easily deliver
- Ability to identify and document process flows based on activities, data points and controls
- Demonstrable ability to investigate data to achieve the purpose of analysis
- Excellent conceptualisation of using visualisation to present the outcome of the analysis
- Capability to seek solutions through ambiguity and conceptualise meaningful solutions
- Experience in Visio
- Excellent mathematical and computational skills

**Working Capabilities**:
Proficient in and keen to work in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills for managing technical and non-technical teams
- Passionate about learning new skills and is a quick learner
- Ability to use technology to solve business problems and work in fast-paced environments
- Analytical thinking for independently verifying requirements versus output
- Demonstrate ability as a self-starter and to complete tasks independently
- Documentation of work

**Education**:
**Certifications**:

- Data analysis certification would be an added advantage

**Languages**:
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written in English is a must.

Indian Standard Time - 8 hours a day

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
