**Job Overview**:
The Optometry Technician assists optometrists in providing vision care services, including performing diagnostic tests, preparing patients for eye exams, and managing equipment. This role is key to ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality vision care while maintaining excellent customer service.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Educational Qualification**:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Certification or formal training in optometry or medical assisting (preferred).
**Experience**:
1-2 years of experience as an optometry technician or in a healthcare support role (preferred).
Experience with optometric equipment and testing procedures is a plus.
**Key Skills**:
Knowledge of basic optometric tests and equipment (autorefractors, tonometer’s, etc.).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in performing diagnostic tests.
Organizational skills to maintain patient records and office systems.
**Work Conditions**:
Optometry Technicians typically work in outpatient clinics, optometry offices, or healthcare facilities.
The role requires standing for extended periods and assisting patients with positioning during exams.
Regular office hours, with some potential evening or weekend shifts, depending on the practice's schedule.
**Preferred Attributes**:
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and patient management software.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high patient volume.
Understanding of basic eye anatomy, common eye conditions, and optical prescriptions.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in optometry.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
