Position Title: Video Editor

**Job Description**:
The Video Editor is a creative professional responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished product that aligns with the vision and objectives of the project. Whether working independently or as part of a team, the Video Editor plays a crucial role in shaping the narrative, pacing, and visual impact of the final video product.

Key Responsibilities:

- Editing Footage: Review raw footage and select the best shots based on the project brief, script, or storyboard. Arrange clips in a logical sequence to create a compelling story or message.
- Video Cutting and Trimming: Use editing software to cut, trim, and splice video segments to achieve seamless transitions, eliminate unnecessary content, and maintain pacing and flow.
- Audio Editing: Enhance audio quality by adjusting levels, adding sound effects, music, or voiceovers, and synchronizing audio with video footage for optimal impact and clarity.
- Visual Effects and Graphics: Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, titles, and other graphical elements to enhance the overall production value and communicate key messages effectively.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure alignment with the project's vision and objectives.
- Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback and revisions from clients, stakeholders, or creative leads to refine the video product and meet quality standards and expectations.
- File Management: Organize and maintain project files, media assets, and project documentation in a structured manner to ensure efficiency, accessibility, and version control.
- Technical Proficiency: Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing software, equipment, and industry best practices to enhance skills and productivity.
- Deadline Management: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of editing principles, techniques, and industry standards.
- Strong creative vision and storytelling ability.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback.
- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading is a plus.

**Salary**: From ₹40,000.00 per month
